The Chip Shop Awards / First Week Back

It's 12:30 at night and I can't get myself off of the 'Chip Shop Awards' website... it's hilarious! I think some of those witty designs should DEFINITELY be used in today's industry, not all but some.
Below are some that really got me laughing... these probably shouldn't be allowed on today's adverts.

 

Anyway, the first week back is done and I'm excited to start the new briefs that have been given to us. I love the idea of working in a group. It's great to see how fast others work and what their process of coming up with ideas and completing a design is.

I've started research on tv adverts from back years ago to now by watching some on youtube.
This research is towards my brief for Lee which is an essay question.
I'm not too sure what the exact question will be but I know what it's going to be about so I can hit the research this week ahead.

Oh! We started HTML and coding last week and at first it's a bit daunting but once I gave it a go it was rather easy really. We've been set out to make our own online CV but we don't have the programming to do so at home so I'm going to have to schedule time in the mac room during the week before Pauls lesson instead.

I've also created a LinkedIn account and updated my twitter acount so both of those should become more active soon and will be linked into my blog in a later date.
